Why Journey Owes Me and You and Explanation

Just curious, but in reality, who is really going to understand this situation, but a select few. I think im convinced that there are lots of lipping going on, but the majority of the concert goers aren’t going to know or care (that doesn’t excuse it). They are older like myself, and most likely taking their kids to the show. There seems to be a great majority that only know the name “Journey” and they don’t even know Perry isn’t in the band anymore as we all know. How many people read these boards anyway? I would think that for the most part, journey fans from the past don’t get on the Internet and read message boards to obtain the most current info. How many folks actually read the message boards on MR and get reviews out of say 10k people at one of their concerts. To me, as a fan, its important, (thanks Andrew) but I don’t think most concert going fans read up on the MR board. Am I wrong? I hate this. Journey was always that great band that had its critics, but everyone had to admit that the musicianship was amazing, especially the singing, and now that has stopped.

It's easy to advise them to say nothing when you think they might be guilty.

It's not just Deano anymore. This stuff has hit the internet at a pretty feverish pace. Uncle JHoe, whether he believe's it or not, is pretty big-time. If I was Journey, I'd be concerned that it even crossed his desk.

I'm sorry you doubt the sincerity of my post. This has nothing to do with Steve Perry, but the legacy of Journey. It has to do with my friuends laughing at me after all the years I stuck up for this band. I'm sorry, but this should be addressed. If not, I am done completely with anything goiong forward. I know that for sure.

Uncle Joe, Andrew, Me, and nearly every other person on either side believes it must be addressed. I clearly see that the only ones calling for them not to are the ones who are afraid of the truth.

And everyone needs to shut the hell up about the legality of all this. It's not slander if it's true. As far as bootlegs, Deano is the least of their problems. It's the guys recording their shows that need to be addressed.

I agree that a lot should not be addressed by bands. A person's sexual orientation, family life, financial situation, etc. But please - if the singer is using a tape, say so.

Oh, I guess the media never publicize sensationalistic BS stories?

Of course Andrew is going to want the band to make a comment, especially to him! I'm not trying to rip on Andrew, especially on his own website! But of course he wants them to give him their responce.

I too have had friends over the years who have riped on me for being a Journey fan, but these accusations won't make me stop liking and listining to the band or supporting them.

Also I did not say that every single person who is supporting these rumors hates Steve Augeri or Journey, just that I GUARANTEE you that many of them do.
