CRAZY

Postby Saint John » Wed Jul 12, 2006 9:34 am

I know it's a short set, but I really wish they would play "Crazy" by Seal. I know it's a cover, but those lucky enough to hear Jeff sing it with SS...it's amazing. The crowd would love it. Maybe dump "Faith In The Heartland." The average Journey fan doesn't even know that song and I doubt 1% of DL fans know it. I don't know...but that version of Crazy is just amazing. One of the best covers I've ever heard, though they do change it a bit. I know it won't happen, but if you can find it anywhere you'll be blown away. Anyone have it?

Has nothing to do with it being an Augeri tune...moreso because it is obscure. Also, from what I've read, every show that they open with this song, the audience which was standing and clapping, immediately sits down. I think they should open with the Star Spangled Banner and go into Stone In Love...now THAT'S how you start a show.

Sarcasm Saint, that's all... I agree, get the crowd going with a more well-known song, especially since the crowd is most likely to be 60/40 (very generous) Def Lepp

Andrew...you mentioned in another post that he covered "Edge Of The Blade". Do you have a sample or something of it??
It'd be greatly appreciated. :-)
