Hey all,

Its great with all these music recommendations we get from each other in here. :) In case you want to explore genre or artist similarities yourselves, you should check out Pandora, a music geneaology internet radio which allows you to name a song or an artist which you like, and it then plays music by that artist as well as music which the radio's database thinks sounds similar (it does hit the mark most times).

It's free (when you get the ad version). I myself have discovered a multitude of bands there which I never heard of before including: Honeymoon Suite, Orion The Hunter, Aldo Nova and others. Plus discovering new features of bands I already knew, which is always cool. 8)

its simply www.pandora.com

This is not meant to be an advertisement, just a quick user tip.

Appreciate the recommendation. But I dislike programs that dump a bunch of adware on your PC.

Oh, right, there may be some tracking cookies there...

Haven't noticed any spyware though and I do scans once in while. It runs from an Internet Explorer window. It does not need to be installed at all.

I love Pandora!!
I found it a few months ago and it's great so far!
From what I understand the owners are constantly working to make it even better.
What a great project!

Yes, I think so too :D It has been terrific being able to discover new music! I think my best discovery on there is either Loverboy or Honeymoon Suite.

Nice to hear more Boston tunes than just More Than A Feeling. One also gets to hear great Journey tunes there all the time 8)
