Journey pulls a Milli Vanilli?

Here’s another very recent development. According to Journey’s Web site, the band replaced Steve Augeri, its lead singer, in the middle of its current tour due to a “throat infection.” However, the online community has lit up, accusing Augeri of lip-synching. The jury’s still out on this one. Stay tuned.

It would be interesting to know who pointed them in that direction...then again maybe they check Journey's site routinely? Doubt it.

I don't know...maybe it's just me, but this whole thing seems overblown; not here on the board, but in general. Seems people love "dirt." Has this story appeared in the National Enquirer yet? If not, I'd like to know why not. I mean, just think of the number of rags they'd sell.
