Having problems, burning boots to disc

Postby monster » Wed Aug 09, 2006 7:37 pm

Hello everyone, I have been downloading various Journey and other bands bootlegs from Guitars 101 and Deep Purple Hub.

The problem I have, is when I burn the concerts to disc, the next song kicks in before the end of the previous one, so in a nutshell, I never get to hear the whole songs.

Journey 1979 download was the first time this happened, so you can imagine my frustration.

Am I doing something wrong, please help.

Thanks in advance

Hey Monster,
The only thing I can really think of is that the bitrate isn't right. But I think I might have the exact same boots so...?
Maybe try (if you have winamp) create a misc. folder on your desktop...use the DiscWriter plugin in your output options...pick the Misc. folder...turn them to wav files...pick the folder to burn from...burn disc. That's the OLD SCOOL WAY. lol.
Just a suggestion...I don't know if it'll work...but maybe worth a CDR if it works. I've never had the problem...so good luck :-)

I know that using Easy Media/CD Creator, there is a setting where you can overlap tracks. Sounds like what is happening with yours. If you're using that program, try right-clicking on each of the selected tracks and choose "Transition effects" and see what is going on.
