OT Mathew St "Beatlefest" Liverpool

Ok, doing what I do, for a living (Macca lookalike tribute), its one of my biggest weekends coming up.

End August in Liverpool sees the city bathed in Beatles Fever. People come from all over the world(lots of Japanese and US) to see the many bands, visit the bars in the famous Mathew St area, original home of the Cavern club, where the Beatles first became popular.

I am doing a few top gigs in the City..so excitement is building.

What I wanna know is, does anyone here know about this famous event, and does anyone know anyone else whose coming over here?

Yes dude... I was "blown away" too...haha There is a cinema style massive poster above one of the venues...I tripped over to Liverpool City centre to see if any publicity had been done... not expecting much... This particular venue is round a corner, at the top of a flight of stairs...well I nearly choked on my Linda McCartney (R.I.P.) veggie Burger when I was confronted with a 12 ft image of myself across the street.. haha Jeez!! ...scary!
