Sorry guys

How about this one instead. :P

That's me in the corner
That's me in the spotlight
Losing my religion
Trying to keep up with you
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much
I haven't said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

Christian beliefs here, but I'd say I'm inwardly spiritual (not religious) & have had spiritual experiences that helped me & I think whatever helps the individual is good in any belief system -- any "religion", "belief", "philosophy" or whatever that is forced onto anyone or hurting anyone is NOT good. Obviously that's when the wars start. No one is gonna know the absolute truth until we die anyway.
Be kind & rewind. :)

I once questioned my beliefs - I mean really questioned them. I went all the way back to the beginning. I came to the conclusion that Matter exists. Energy exists. In the scientific, physical realm it is impossible to get something out of nothing. So, even if I believed in the Big Bang, where did the Matter and Energy come from? My only answer was a god of some kind. And the only god that made sense to me was the God of the Bilble - Jesus Himself.

I came away with my biblical beliefs of Christianity and a young universe - 7 - 10 thousand years old. Yes, I believe dinosaurs were created the same day as cows and dogs and monkeys. I believe dinosaurs were on Noah's ark - he probably took baby animals. Even a baby Brontosaurus or Elephant is not that big.

The legends of Dragon Slayers aren't that old. I belive that along with disease and climate change after the flood that man hunted the dinos to extinction (or did they? We hear rumors of dino like creatures in Africa and South America from time to time). Would you want a T-rex coming in to your back yard? .

Anyway, this is not to get a debate going - just sharing my beliefs. I always love hearing from others as to their views of the universe and the afterlife.

Thanks for your time and attention. Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Respectfully,

Knox

Knox, I just saw your post & got a smile. I have my beliefs in God, although I also have my doubts & I often say in my questioning mind from time to time: "But what about the dinosaurs?" Funny, I found something in Job in the Bible about some unknown animals that God is speaking of & I wonder if those are the dinos?! I tend to believe that basically everything is connected in this mystery called life.

Knox? Knox have you had enough? If not here's another one for you :D

The moment I wake up
Before I put on my makeup
I say a little prayer for you
While combing my hair now,
And wondering what dress to wear now,
I say a little prayer for you :P

Raised devote Catholic and re-practicing
yet I still believe in human souls reincarnating.
So in other words I completely contradict what the
religon stands for.
Feels good to me though so until the big man comes
to claim my ass who knows where I'll end up  :D
