Troubled Tours: Is it Age, Bad Luck or Pure Stupidity???

Postby Carlitto H@kk » Tue Aug 29, 2006 6:14 am

A lot of crazy stuff happenning to bands on tour lately...

Keith Richards falls out of a tree.
Guy dies at a Korn concert.
Tom Hamilton has Throat Cancer; will miss first part of Aero tour w/ Motley.
Kelly Hansen has throat problems; Foriegner post-pones dates.
Elliot Easton has problems; The New Cars tour cancelled.
Don't even get me started on what happenned to Dime last year... RIP :(
Augeri has Tapegate/throat problems/gets fired (possibly).
Fuckin' K-Fed performs live for the first time - Someone PLEASE run over this fool with a rusted out Ford F250!
... Now Poison pretty much has a brawl on stage one night, complete w/ Bobby Dall launching his bass at Mr. Wig-Boy Michaels, who then has a leg-brace on the following evening (Nice shot, Bobby!)

Could you imagine if Journey's problems spilled over like that? Of course, Neal and Ross would hold on to their guitars; pricey custom models that they love. But what if Frigga woulda came out swinging at Augeri when his voice faltered???

Can you say CHICK FIGHT!!!

DAMN, CRAZY YEAR FOR TOURING!

So Hamilton and Kelly Hansen had throat problems? No big deal. They should have contacted Kevin Elson. That guy is a genius (seriously), and the shit he turned into gold last year should have earned him an extra mill or two.

Throat problems are NEVER a problem, unless you use the SAME tape! Kev, DOH! I am razzin Elson, and think the guy is the best in the business. One of the guys in the band I most want to get fucked up with.....

It is quite sad that the world had to have K-Fed live thrust upon them. No one should suffer through that. Aren't his 15 minutes up already?

K-Fug news:
The Fresno Grizzlies are proud to announce that Saturday's game versus the Sacramento Rivercats will be dubbed K-Fed Night in honor of Fresno native Kevin Federline. The night full of laughs will be kicked off by a temporary tattoo giveaway which the first 3,000 fans to enter Grizzlies Stadium will receive. In addition, fans can expect to be entertained by video clips illustrating Federline's career and a skit from Parker, the Grizzlies mascot. Federline was born and raised in Fresno, attending Bullard High School ... Fans attending the game are encouraged to dress in a style similar to Federline and celebrate the career of a Fresno legend.

There is sooo much wrong with this. Why would anyone want to wear a sweaty, smelly wifebeater, baggy jams and sandals with dirty socks to look like K-Fed? And celebrate WHAT career? As far as I know, all he's done is make babies and turn Britney into a waddling mess. And finally, I know Fresno has always gotten a bad rap but it isn't going to look any better by declaring Federline a "Fresno legend." The California Raisins were better entertainment.

I don't think you can say that the Journey guys haven't engaged in fisticuffs; at least they haven't onstage. And surprised that HH never mentioned it in any of his interviews.

Concerning Keith Richards and the tree, I believe that that was just plain stupidity.

People who get cancer, I called that bad luck.

The others are still up in the air.........

Poison fight......... stupidity............. I wonder if their fans got the whole concert they paid to see......

Does that leave any of the band members that have not attacked Bret Michaels at some point?
