Perry was by far the better singer than Elvis
On stage it was close for the who can strut the best, but Elvis wins in the end.
Off stage, Elvis, he was even larger than life off stage.-ERIC

Elvis' music was groundbreaking in itself, but YES range has a lot to do with how good a singer is. Perry is a better vocalist than Elvis. JMO.

Great quality. If you liked the Arrival era at all, I recommend snapping this show up. Signs of Life is on this one too. :D

I thank u for uploading this. But I must be missing something. I have listened 3 times & all I hear is the poor man straining his voice. I am not bashing him. Maybe I hear something different than u. I dunno. He sounded really good on studio stuff. I admit. I loved his Tall Stories stuff. I know he was in his 40s by 01 but damn he was really damaging his vocal chords here IMO. I am no expert that's for sure. But he just sounds like he was really pushin' it even back then.

I only listened to it once and I also heard the "poor man straining his voice." That was painful for me to listen to him because he sounded like he was crack completely any moment now.

I just love the tune. That era isn't for everyone. As many concerts as I've seen, I wasn't expecting Perry 1980. I think the song rocks, and it is ok if you don't. :D

Ever notice the Cain piano sounds like Schroeder from Peanuts/Charlie Brown?

I have noticed that for ages! Thought I was the only one.... Sometimes, he reminds me of Schroeder the way he plays with his head down kind of serious. LOL!
