Good point, I think it the band's fault, not Augeri's, thatthey didn't follow through and take the band in new, harder rocking, progressive directions then.

Sony had the creative control for Arrival, so the band didn't have much of a choice.

But I did really like the sound of Augeri's voice on Kiss Me Softly.

Yep, a different Augeri register. Unadorned during the verse except Neal singing the even lower register of the verse into what sounds like the same mic (face to face) as Augeri...that's cool stuff.
