Sure PS is one of the top for pros
but it will take you nowhere unless you know how to use it
It;s not really quick learning
You'll sit there for an hour trying to find out how to do something
before you give up.
the help section isn;t that helpful
Guess you have to buy the 2 inch book that teaches you to use it

I had a program from a old scanner that was great & easy to do the simple photo fun things
It in my opinion was almost better than PS
certainly easier
It took me a few years to even accidently find out how to do things
The help section really sucks
but I have my brothers PS6

Have to thank him
I mostly use it to crop and size pics
have done a few animations
it can be fun but you will spend hours doing something trying to figure it out

The cost is prohibitive
so if it wasn;t a gift I'd be using somethng else that was much easier

My point was if you just want simple photo editing
there are probably better alternatives that will give you good results without the expense and headaches of of trying to get from point A to B in a 100 innocuous steps.

I have it so I like to learn to use it but it's not easy to figure out.
It's like hitting your head on a brick wall
saying open sesame
all you get is a big headache

It worked on win 95 and 3.1
it was really old but very powerful little freebie that came with a scanner
I picked up for $25 in a garage sale about 5 years ago
