You aren't confused at all...Welcome to the MR Journey Forum...what you describe is normal behavior for this forum...

This is the type of talk that gave me the impression that DL was all show and not worth seeing. It may be your opinion, but my experience left me thinking the exact opposite. The set list is just fine, IMO, JOURNEY is the one who had songs that lost their audience, NOT DL.

Def Leppard's setlist sucks ass.

I'll say it again - Make Love Like a Man is the gayest song of all time. I do not need Joe Elliot to teach me how to use my cock.

Rock On should be called Suck On. The original was terrible, and it was also covered before by Michael Damian for God's sake. Just utter shit. I understand that Pour Some Sugar on Me had to be played but it sucks ass too. Ditto Let's Get Rocked.

How about Stagefright, Die Hard the Hunter, Rock Brigade, Too Late for Love, High and Dry? On the "X" tour Leppard rocked and opened with a medley from "High and Dry" They blow on this tour though.

So if Journey stuck to the dirty dozen and other hits only, the casual fans would be happy, but the die-hards would be pissed (and posting like mad). And Journey would be bored and it'd show.

Bottom line: it's a no-win situation for all.

Simple. Allow me to explain.

Monker is on his period. yes, the only dude to have cramps and bleed from HIS vagina. He hates Journey now, because he isn't the leader of a particular board; someone else is.

So his only option is to bitch and LIE about concerts. I can guarantee you he lied about last nights show. He just hates the fact that he is shit now, and no one cares what he says.

Monker. you suck dude.

It's because Monker doesn't love Journey-With-JSS to pieces and he doesn't believe Tapegate, so therefore to this board his opinion is invalid.

There's your concise answer.

I for one find Monker quite entertaining and I enjoy watching the forum tennis match.

No, the problem is they haven't found their niche with JSS. The try to "rock hard" with songs the audience isn't familiar with, or doesn't care to hear. Like has been posted in another thread, they could easily let Dean do "Mother Father", which goes over well. The could also do "Higher Place" - which has alwasy gone over well here. Instead they pull out "Edge of the Blade" and "Dead or Alive"...and I have to move out of the way for five or six people walking out to get drunk, or whatever.

In fact, *I* would rather hear "Where Were You" and "Line of Fire" then EITHER of those two songs. I simply don't think they made the best choice of 'rockers'. When DOA came up, people screamed cuz Neal was rocking...and then it was like, "WTF is this? Let's get a beer."

Don't hate Journey...I just don't think they are PERFECT and that JSS is the new Steve Perry. And, I *LOVE* being in the minority.

So his only option is to bitch and LIE about concerts. I can guarantee you he lied about last nights show.

WHAT am I lying about? I didn't say Journey sucked. I'm saying they put on a good show. I'm saying JSS gives 210%. But, I'm also saying they have some things they need to work on...and DL upstages them because of it. If you guys want to concentrate on talking about the 10% negativity, I'm game! Go ahead, ignore the good things I said...I don't mind AT ALL.

What's wrong with "Edge of the Blade"?? I love that song, in fact I'm listening to it right now. Does anyone like this song, especially live? Or just me??

Why isn't "Mother Father" added? Was it played at all on this tour? I don't have time to read the past threads.

Nothing's wrong with it, but Leppard fans sit down or move to the bathroom when they are played.

I don't see how Mother, Father would be any better with them, Monker...

All I am saying is that about a half dozen people around me were very much into the show until both Edge and DOA, and then it just died and they were pushing by me to get a beer, or whatever.

Why isn't "Mother Father" added? Was it played at all on this tour? I don't have time to read the past threads.

All I am saying is they need to try SOMETHING else...MF is pretty much accepted by the fans who have seen Journey in the past, so why not? The same goes for "Higher Place"...at least around here.

Yeah dude, I am the stupid fuck. If only you knew. You would be agasp.

Trust me, I am smarter than you, and know more about this than you ever will. You think I would go in half cocked and try to derail Journey with half assed tghoughts? Hell, I never wnated to derail Journey. I just wanted these guys to be correct. They are, I have forgiven all but Mr Awful, and we have moved on.

That's ok, if Leppard fans sit down. It's better than me wanting to punch someone in the face during "Let's Get Rocked", piss on someone during "Pour Some Sugar on Me", worship Michael Damien during "Rock On" then just turn into a total fag during "Make Love Like a Man".

Anyone who likes those songs, well, you know what you are.

...I would love to hear "Mother Father"....I wonder how they decide what to sing?

...I only HOPE the Lep fans sit down now & then....it would allow me to actually SEE Journey perform....I always seem to get about ten six foot guys in front of me at every show...

*thinks all the short fans should be up front......hahaha....ok - just ONCE I would love for that to happen....

Sorry...nobody around me was sitting for EITHER show...Including Mr. Tub-o-lard doing some funky dance thing that no 300lb monstrocity should do, Mr. Wave My Hands about like a drunken idiot, and Mr. "I'm Going to go get beer and when I come back to my seat, I'm going to fall down and dump it all over myself" dude.

But, hey, it's a rock concert...so what SHOULD you expect?

*thinks all the short fans should be up front......hahaha....ok - just ONCE I would love for that to happen....

For that to happen, you'll either have to pay the I Love All Access cronies...and still not know your seat, or get in good with Dean cuz people here have said he got them good seats.

I'll also add that I think Arrival was a great album, and I have no ax to grind with S.A. before this went down. But don't kid yourselves. I have a club show from Generations tour that if you saw and heard you would not question it.
