Reo/Journey would work over here in the UK! But the Styx/Reo combo would work better, I know they gone for the safer option with Deep Purple, but Reo do have a following over here, I can count at least three people I know who've heard of them, that's one more than Styx in my circle of friends :cry:

Journey don't really need to double up, they'd fill the venues on their own over here, unless they're thinking of bigger mainstream venues, then they'd have to share the gig. With BA, they'd get to play places like the NEC and SECC, just like the Eagles, instead of these old victorian playhouses with muffled sound....ideal for SA's voice but I'd guess J double S needs a bigger venue to blast that voice of his off.
Why not have a word with Rush, what a gig that would be and imagine the exposure they'd get :idea:

Huh? Madonna does what? I wonder if Journey makes more money touring with others because they can share some of the road expenses like equipment, or if it costs them more for other strange reasons? It seems they would work less touring with another band because their sets are shorter. If they are making more money for less work then they'll probably keep doing the double bill deal. I could see them with Bryan Adams again, saw them with him in '82 or '83 and it was very good.
