Any of you folk know a GREAT online site for booking US domestic fares?

I'm actually goign to be enroute to the UK for Firefest Octo 27/28, so I'm hoping to see the Grand Rapids and Green Bay Journey shows.

But bugger me if that ain't a royal and expensive pain in the ass to get to...especially from here!

I am going to the Grand Rapids show...hmmm...I guess I will have to keep an ear open for the Australian accent...

Hey RVR,
Well, plans are currently in limbo.

Getting to the GR/GB shows via flights from Oz-LA-Chicago-GR make for a logistical nightmare.

I'm not yet sure what show I can get to see en route the UK so, I'm looking at Plan B or plan C is no show at all...

Every way I have turned, this trip has been a headache to get set! So I'll keep trying and confirm I hope on Monday.

Hey PF,
Well, it's been up and down and round and round and thru the loop after that.

My plans have been changing daily...I'm just working out what is happening now....today and again tomorrow. Should have confirmation of plans this week.

I'm sorry to be so non-committal with this, but my original plans did not work out at all and so someone has come to my rescue....just working on that now.

As for the UK - yes, Firefest 3 Oct 27/28...will still be there for sure. WigWam rule :)

Uh...did I mis something?

;^)

Have you seen Sav onstage this tour???

Uh, yeah, CH...from the third row. Still don't see the need for some stupid "drag-queen" comment.

Care to elaborate why anyone would feel that was even remotely called for?

I've seen you several times at Gods/Firefest shows (recognised you from photos) over the years but have never spoken to you. Maybe I'll get our mutual friend Mr Price to introduce us this time :)

Dude looks like an ugly, 50 yo hag up there with his silly haircut and sillier clothes... I know all the glam of the 70s is making a comeback but this guy looks ridiculous! If that's how YOU like your dudes or blokes to look, Good on ya! And if you don't like my opinion of DL's Bass Player, Good On Ya! Why, did I hurt his feelings or something????

Man, I've been around the R n' R world for over thirty years, and I've seen PLENTY of guys lookin' way sillier than Sav.

Are you even aware the guy has Bell's Palsy? Given that fact, I commend the guy for not being afraid to appear on stage every night.

I agree. Pretty tasteless comment about Sav. Anyway, to my eyes, 90% of the musicians with long hair out there look like friggin' drag queens... why not talk about them?

Anyway, maybe he's referring to Sav's makeup pic in the YEAH cd booklet.

Anyway, Sav has some talent... he's a good singer, good bass player, good songwriter, good overall musician (he played most if not all of the instruments on his Queen re-make), and I'm sure he's not bothered with Napoleonic comments.
