Augeri was live for the Def Leppard tour (for the most part).

Manchester here I come again...... JSS or Augeri??

Jesus....you still have to ask?

Most of us don't have to ask but, you have to admit Deano, this is something the band is going to have to 'Officially' address sometime soon...
March 07 would be a nice 9 month break for Mr. Augeri... It's pretty obvious that, if Jeff does these UK shows, it is a done deal, Official Statement or not.
The funny thing is, by March, I'm sure Dsm will have another 500 posts to that Pos-Enrgy thread...

Sad, very sad...

Carlitto...I HONESTLY don't think that they're gonna address "tapegate". I think that they might say something like "Due to the ongoing throat problems, Steve Augeri won't be with us any longer. But Please give a warm Journey welcome to JSS". IF that. In other words...I think that the early shows Intros were the "done deal". Speculation on my part..But I DO believe it. :-)

No doubt; "TapeGate" will not be addressed and why should they??? I could careless if they ever announce it 'officially'...
But I'm not the only Journey fan in the world :)
No matter how cheesy it is, SOMETHING is gonna have to be said for all the Wigglers out there that are still in denial. If not, by March 07 you'll be reading posts like,
"We miss you Steve! Hope your getting ready to get back onstage with the guys this summer! Send you some good-morning-love Steve! Blah blah blah blah blah..."

God, I hope someone makes a monster Tall Stories MB soon so we can be rid of them all!

I must admit i wish something would be said regarding tapes if only to vindicate all the people who dont belive Steve is coming back and are regarded as trouble makers and not true Journey fans!!! You know the ones we are talking about
Again beware my friend your words are probably being read and noted for referance on another board mine were many times!

I happen to think that "the Wigglers" are gonna hang themselves anyway if SA doesn't return. Kinda sad. ENJOY THE MUSIC AND DON'T FOCUS TOO MUCH ON THE PEOPLE MAKING IT. (Not directed at you Carlitto).

Gonna be a lot of the Melodic rock gang at the UK shows and the BT herd should be interesting!! I will probably be lynched for beliving tapegate and not praying for Steve's return :? plus getting thrown of BT.

Ray, I think your troubles with BT came about not because of the opinions you had - everybody is entitled to an opinion and there are stronger opinions among people still on BT - but because you seemed to hijack every thread you posted on (at least all those I saw) to twist the subject around to 'that subject' that you obviously wanted to talk about. Everybody knew what you felt about it, but you mentioned it again, and again, and again, and again - always very polite but with an obvious undercurrent of sarcasm.

I have no influence over the mods, but in the highly charged atmosphere there at the time ofthe so called allegations I can easily see why they would want to do without that sarcasm at that time.

Carlitto has views every bit as outspoken as yours and yet he continues to post and contribute to BT, because he's not posting the same question over and over.

You're in danger of doing the same here, because every time you post you sarcastically mention how unjustly BT apparently treated you. It may not be intended but its how it comes across to me anyway.

Can we all just get over this and move on? No offence intended and I'll still buy you a beer if and when we meet at a Journey gig in March.

Hi all,

I'm new here. I'm a huge fan of JSS, not so much of Journey but I can't wait for the Newcastle date, providing JSS is still with them by then. I haven't had the chance to see JSS live yet (I'm a relatively new fan!) so it'll be a great night!

Hi Lea, welcome to the forum. There are a lot of JSS fans here.

As to Newcastle, prepare yourself for the best concert you've ever seen, because the combination of JSS and Journey at the moment is absolutely electric. I'm planning on going to all the UK shows so maybe I'll see you there.

Some people went on about Steve being just sick or its all rumour on every post, mine was about something else. My grief comes from the fact that i emailed a mod concerning comments made at BT in private and then got chucked out! In all honesty as my girlfriend said its mostly full of sad people so i spose it does not matter. I just felt the whole tape saga was dismissed by the mods and that anyone who belived it was branded trouble maker and then would be watched, the amount of times mods had commented on what i wrote here? What i post here is no buisness of BT yet they watch and note? Like they are the Journey police! :? The simple fact is if you dont think as they do you are not considered a true fan. 8)

Hmm, much like THE BAND dismissed the tape saga? You ever think maybe the mods were just following that lead? I honestly don't think they do that much without orders from higher up...

AFI, for once I totally agree with you :)
The Mods there are getting their orders from high above and running the asylum as they are instructed to.
This entire situation, from july 6th til now, has been handled horribly by the band/management...

The only thing keeping me from hating them is the choice they made for their new frontman on this tour and hopefully beyond :)
