With the whole tape gate saga opening the debate of the use of tapes for live shows who else uses them? I have no problem with sound effect triggers or evan backing vocals,but lead vocals or evan guitar! By all accounts a lot of Chris Holmes of wasp fame's guitar was on tape and wasp these days use tapes big time. Roger Waters has also been accused of the use of vocal tapes and belive it or not House of Lords singer James Christian has most of his vocals on tape!!!
What do i say
get off the fucking stage and stand down,or at least admit how much of the show is on tape. The reason they dont is shame they know its wrong otherwise they would have no problem talking about it.
In my opinion any band using them should own up so fans can decide if this is the kind of show they want to spend there money on,for the people who dont care then it wont matter,but some do
