Deen singing Mother Father? The dude has a decent voice at best. His voice has no power. It always seems like they need to turn his mic up. Problem is that it IS up. Do you own the 81 DVD? If you do, you must hear things very differently from me. Besides, he just "covers" it. He's not the singer. But I respect your opinion, even if it is a bit crazy.

Yes, I do own the DVD - Perry is wonderful on it. I have a couple of boots with Deen singing it and it is really good. Have you heard those? ;) Thanks for respecting my opinion. It is quite late and my opinions could be crazy!

OMG...is this great minds thinking alike? :D Can't be, but I compliment your choices. Trial by Fire though is not a great way to end a concert, in my opinion. Should end on an UP note.

Well, I struggled with the TBF thing. I love the song but know it's not really an upbeat ender. I just thought it was so fitting for what Jeff's facing right now.

True, but for my tastes, I'd rather see it in the the second half, but not at the end. As you know, it's a very provocative, soul-searching song. But heck, I don't want to leave a concert with that song being in my ears as the last thing I heard.

Yeah, the song has to be in the set, but maybe Can't Tame the Lion would be a better ender.

You know, it's been a while since I've listened to that. I'll have to go back and check out, but right now I'm listening to Stree Talk. "My, My, My" and "Makes No Difference" are awesome tunes!

I've gotta get those reissues. I've heard most the songs but only rough cuts on bootlegs.
