If Bands Switched Tunes.....

Postby Greg » Thu Oct 19, 2006 10:03 am

Let's say Journey decided to tour with another band..let's say REO or Boston....BUT instead of doing their own stuff, the two bands switched and played each other's set list instead. What other band's songs do you think Journey would perform best with?

Nobody's. No one. Stop right now. Screw REO, Screw Boston and Foreigner and Twigs. Journey are better than all those hack jobs.

Actually, I love Neal doing Celine dion's "My Heart Will Go On." Amazing. Just because a sing is slow doesn't make it shit.

I would love to see Journey play these tunes:

Under the Boardwalk

Saturday Night- Elton John

Swallow That Load- The greatest song in the history of Music.

What if the band they were touring with switched just one song with them-

for example- Journey plays "Rock Of Ages" Or "Armaggedon It!"
Def Leppard Plays "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'" Or "Raised On Radio"
I want a new tour bus filled with old guitars...

I can't think of any good covers I'd like to see Journey do right off.... but I would like to see Bob Seger do a rendition of "Faithfully."

Have you heard him lately? I think it would have to be an octave low for him to sing it now....

I'll take a stab. How about Journey doing Triumph tunes. Now, I don't know about the other way around.
