Does anyone know of any other vids online? I checked, but couldn't find any.

i have a VHS of a concert. I should dub that over to DVD, and then maybe upload it. They basicaly do most of the debut Storm album, "Black Magic Woman" "Feeling That Way" and "Just the Same Way" (I think). At the end, you can tell Chalfant wanted to do another Journey song but they do "I've Got a Lot to Learn About Love" for a second time as an encore.

If you decide to do that, let me know will you? I'd enjoy seeing it.

Me too Monker, I'd really appreciate it!

Folks,

For anyone interested, here is a show from The Storm via 1992. The sound quality is ok.

Best regards,

Aaron

Holy shit, he's really good. I do hear some "Augeri-ish" sounds, as Augeri was back in the TS days. I can see why he's been compared to Perry, but it's no Perry voice to me. A few notes are Perryish, yes. But he doesn't have that uniqueness Perry did. I kinda think a bit of Jimi Jamison doing Augeri doing Perry. Just my opinion tho.

'Come In Out of the Rain' should have been a Journey song...among others.

Btw, at www.cliquerecords.com, KC used to have forum where he would reply often.

Listening again to him do those Journey songs w/Gregg I really have to say WOW. He does a great job & gets all the Perryisms down well.

Journey should have picked him in '98. Of course, they don't need him now.

So too did Augeri and now it's been revealed that he had all the ethics of a traveling circus carny.
What's ur point?

All that proves is that Clique records is run out of his garage on a shoestring.
Kevin has likewise corresponded with me in emails about shipping questions.
A nice gesture to be sure, but that is all.

That was the plan prior to "Trial by Misfire".
Ross commented in a radio interview that (paraphrasing here) Sony wanted a 5-person lineup that way it would more closely resemble the Escape lineup.

Thanks. I'm not familar with The Storm. He has a great voice, sounds a bit like SP on the "to your heart" part. Pretty good song. Who started this group? Ross is in there - seems interesting that he was in another band with a singer who sounds similar to SP.

It started out as "The Vu", who also have an album available. Gregg and Kevin met at a football game and started talking. They ended up putting a new band together, along with Steve Smith, for the debut. Steve Smith was replaced for the tour by Ron Wixso...who is in this video. So, it was Gregg and Kevin who basicaly 'started' the Storm.

Do you recall why Smith left? Was it because Smith was involving himself in his drum clinics more?
