ahhh, call to your heart. Journey all the way! WHAT? NOT Journey? David Glenn Eisley was a BIG HUGE Perry clone, voice wise. At least on the record. The good thing is that that stuff came out while Journey was in between albums. So it was kind of like carrying us over until the REAL Journey came back out with something.

For the record, I listened to it a lot, still do once in a while. It's not so bad.

Didn't Greg have a part ownership in the New Orleans Hard Rock Casino that was destroyed during Hurricane Katrina?

Yep! Talk about bad luck, first his recording studio burns down destroying all his work for his solo CD, then Katrina wipes out the Hard Rock he was heavily invested in.

David also sang backing vocals for Michael Bolton's The Hunger album. Kind of gave it a Perryesque feel.

The Garden of Eden can't be found on a map. It's not a geographical location. It's right where you are - if you're in the spirit.

No, Prophet stayed Prophet. Ted Poley was their drummer and vocalist but left to join D2 after the debut. Prophet put out the amazing "Cycle Of The Moon" album after he left.

I have to say I never really heard the Journey sound with "Call To The Heart" as much as other people did at the time. Eisley had a great voice, though. Loved both those albums. I was and am a huge Angel fan as well.

God, I hadn't seen those clips in years. They had some fine fine songs. I'd love to get those on CD now.
