Had a blast , first neat thing that day was having lunch with Neal Schon! lol-- no really, he sat at the table next to ours in Shula's 2 in the Wyndham. He talked to us for a few minutes before he left, we told him we'd be at the show later, etc. Before that someone who I guess was at AR's party had come in & talked to Neal, mentioned the party & that he had just seen Jeff out front, etc. Mentioned something else that I'm not sure is safe to share yet, so I won't, lol. Anyhow, Neal was SUPER nice & told us before he left "You girls be careful, this is not a safe city!" That was awesome of him.
ILAA gave us front & center seats, on the floor, section 2, row A, seats 6,7,8. WOW!!! Before that we got to do the meet & greet with all but Neal. I was actually brave enough to talk to Jeff this time, but I said something really stupid about trying not to be catatonic like I was last time I met him, lol. He laughed, signed my Soul Sirkus (thanks Jeff!!). Deen was between Jeff & Ross, & I gave him Hardline to sign this time. He seemed a little shocked & mentioned not remembering (or not wanting to remember, lol) how he looked back then. So I opened it & showed him, lol. Ross took it & looked at it with this look of horror on his face, you know how expressive his face is, lol. It was hilarious!
I saw AR just outside the ladies room right before we went to our seats, I mentioned to one of my friends I thought that's who he was & the woman behind me (super nice!!) shook her head yes. I asked her if she posted on MR & she said yes, that she was Sunshine Twilight. We've "talked" on JSS's site too, lol. I was going to say Hi to AR but he was talking & I didn't want to interrupt.
I'm new at this digital camera thing, so when I figure out the best way to share my pics (any ideas?? lol) I will.
I won't go on & on about the show because you all already know how amazing it was. Highlights for me were having a clear shot of Deen, WOW is he AMAZING to watch! Oh & the other highlight was Jeff kneeling down & singing to us during AWYWI, all I could do was stand there with my hand over my mouth & almost fell over, lol.
Now I have withdrawal, so someone PLEASE tell me they will be back next year...with JSS of course, lol.
