You think?
It's funny, but Journey's management is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SLOW about everything. We know that because of the situation with the interviews and Andrew waiting to hear something back. It seems interminable, but I know it first hand from another experience.
A few years back, I had come up with some designs to create "busts" of the guys (like Beethoven's bust, etc.). Each guy would be shown from the waist/chest up having something to do with their instruments - Neal, playing his guitar, Steve (Augeri at that time) singing, Jon Cain holding his portable keys, Ross with his bass and Deen with his sticks, etc. They would be about 1:6 scale and each would look like they were in the middle of playing their instruments. These would be expertly sculpted and cast pieces that would certainly be collectible. I have would have issued them with a certificate of authenticity (signed by the guys) and numbered. There would have been three versions - a bronze version, a painted version and an unpainted version for those who wanted to paint them.
I managed to get through to one guy (I forget his name) and it took a long time to even hear back from him. There was no positive direction and no real communication and so eventually I just said - "Okay, forget it."
I think if I had been able to approach the guys directly, things would have got going much sooner and quicker.
Journey's management tends to bog them down...a lot!
