I think I have that Japan one already, jester. Mine is from Nagoya, Japan, dated 10-10-81. 8)

Wow, 10/10/81 that's my wife's birthday, she turned 2 that year. :D anyway '81 that would be the escape tour wouldn't it?

Maybe it is 10-10-80, but the person I got it from said 81. But it has Rolie in it ! I better go change that year! 8)

Mine ate good ole leaded gas!
Couldn;t beat the torgue in the older esp manual tranny models
but I guess alot of that has to do with the rear end conmbination.
I think mine had a lower ratio
never found the axle code but was prob 3.2 to 3.5
Origianl engine though
not likr there are many spare 70 RA III engine around..LOL
found that & boy that took while and alot of grime

Mine was a auto
My friend has a 71 manual and it was a whiplash machine
I always treated her right
after all she was getting one in years when I got her she was 14 year o;d and when I sold her she was way over 30 years old and she still looked good!
Mine was the first year of the F body and 2nd year TA
Gosh, I was looking for a pic...

Shadow that car probably looks the same now ,cars dont rust at all out here tons of 20 yr+ older cars out here that look the same as when they were bought new ---all you have to do is repaint them once in a while and they look great.

How cool would it be if Perry 'publically' applauded the band's decision
to get Jeff and praised Jeff's performnces????
Yea, I know, it will NEVER happen because Perry is so hung up on
"Not cracking that stone" but it would be pretty fuckin' cool

As far as Perry is concerned, the stone was cracked the very first time Journey stepped up on stage with Augeri.

I'm hoping Steve will see Jeff as being the one who might cement the stone back together. Afterall, there's certainly nothing more to lose as far as the ingegrity of Journey is concerned at this point. It seems he would have to see Jeff coming on board as an improvement.

I have that Japanese Departure show on VHS if anyone's interested? I can't play VHS tapes anymore since I ditched the VCR. Just PM me if you're interested.

Yup. I've put all my stuff on to DVD so the tapes are kind of redundant now.

CA or AZ is good one cars
I thought you were in England
Foggy there...

I had her more than half her life
She';s close to 34 yo in that pic
and very amazingly clean
esp for a orig NY car
she spent 5 years in CA
Took her with me
she went first class by Horseless carriage riding in a covered trailer under a Porsche/...:LOL
They took good care of her and it wasn;t cheap but neither was rail and it was worth an extra few hundred to me.
First of all she was very low not much clearance and they would have ended up stressing the heads if her headers caught on something
Other thing about her as she was an L car built in the Van Nuys plant
she came home
All the other Trans Ams reportedly were built in the N Norwood plant in MI
Never documented that but since there were only about 2500 built that year who knows

anyway...I loved her
she was faithful
had a heart of gold
strong car
Still hear her driving away
her growling engine saying it;s last goodbye....
