Something Cool That Xerox Is Doing

If you go to this website

http://www.letssaythanks.com/Home1280.html

you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and send it to a soldier currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets your card, but it will go to some member of the armed services.

How amazing would it be if we could get everyone we know to send one?
It's FREE and it only takes a second!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these?
Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know your behind them.

(received this in a email...good idea.....good of Xerox to do it.....thought I would pass it on)

Nice thought, but having said that, the soldiers would love nothing more than a Department of Defense letter saying pack your shitr and come home. Your vacation in Iraq based on a out and out lie is mercifully over. Now that those fucking lying republicans are gone, it is closer to actually happening now.

Why don't you all send a message to good ol "President" Bush and and thank him for all the well doing he accomplished with his little war game?

agreed...one of my son's friends just went for at least a year....they have another thats been there for a long time and one that now suffers from PTSD for having been there.....so I'm well aware of what a BS war it was to get into and what it's done and still doing to our troops and their familys. I have never voted for Bush and have been very vocal against being in Iraq.

I'm kinda with Deano on this one.

It's just another company trying to be "patrotic" for without Xerox's help, people just aren't obviously. I think it's clear that most people support the individual soldiers (as a whole), just not the reason they (we) are there.

btw, I do side "work" for a non-profit organization that's been sending things (not just holiday cards once a year, but monthly) for a while. I do my "share" of giving the soldiers good morale. Most people don't or can't.

Will Bush and his guys ever come up wiht a reasonable solution for Iraq? hell no. anyonewho thinks so is as blind as those who think Perry or Augeri are coming back to Journey.

I agree that people should do what they can...more then a card....I have sent packages, myself....but since it is just a message board and only takes a second...whats the harm???....just a little moral boost....but it's something and it helps...especially to those who don't have family sending to them or don't get much mail.

thats great that you do that, WC! :D 8)
