Just an observation

Postby cddanzig » Tue Dec 12, 2006 1:34 am

I haven't read everything that is going on ( I do have other things to do), but the tone of all the messages about the whole Augeri thing seems to be that he is the only one at fault. Hello, they are a band, blame should be dealt to all involved. Anyway, the problem has been taken care of with JSS hopping on board and I say END OF STORY. Journey is up and touring again at 100%. That's what everybody wants. Leave both Steves to their own devices and enjoy what is out there now. By the way, it would be nice to tone down the cussing because, as some of us know, there are a lot of children reading this.

Sincerely,
A fan who doesn't want to hear Open Arms/Don't Stop Believing in concert for the 100,000,000th time as great as those songs may be (thank goodness for their 30th anniversary blowout shows that they did)

Let's see you don't want to hear the songs for the 100,000,000th time, you haven't read everything, but you don't like the tone of the messages?

Riddle me this? Why are you here?

BTW, Fuck off.

DC Vader, you do this over and over and over. Everyone has their right to freedom of speech on here unless Andrew =the OWNER and CEO of this site=says otherwise. There is no reason to be a HATER other than you just want to be a jerk. Check yourself, seriously, you think its funny cause its just the "internet" right? Don't be a Deano wannabe.

I do not read this site when my daughter is in the room. If she walks in, I close the window. It's OK (IMO) to have web sites that my daughter isn't old enough to read. I don't think soap operas are appropriate for my child either, so they are not on in my house when she is home. If I don't like the tone of a thread here, I click out of it. It's really pretty simple.

Hello, this has been quarreled every which way under the sun.
The buck ultimately stops with the vocalist.
Yes, the band is culpable, but no one here is ready to disavow ALL of Journey for one singer's failings.
We like the music too much.

Leave both Steves to their own devices and enjoy what is out there now.

How about you let people to talk about whatever they so choose and you just concern yourself.
This place has discussed Aynsley's alleged tendencies to molest underage girls.
Why should we now stop short of carping on Steve A. or Steve P - because of your precious nostalgic memories?

The original post makes no sense. Too harsh on this one? Perhaps. However, when the BT'ers come a callin' and sign up just to sling shit. That's a different story.

BTW, cddanzig Welcome to MR.
