Neal solo tour?

Postby Mark H » Tue Dec 12, 2006 9:12 pm

As a relative newbie on here, I admire the wealth of information and history you guys possess wrt to our favourite band.

Being from the UK its only fairly recently that we've got to see Journey live over here, although I've taken 2 trips to the US to see the band in 2002/4. Been a Journey fan since 82 and followed Bad English and Hardline in the day. Its only within the last couple of years that I've gotten hold of Neal's solo stuff and I love the way he sort of takes a theme for each album, making each one distinct but with that signature sound.

I was wondering if Neal has ever toured in support of his solo albums a la Satriani. Joe plays the UK about every 2 years and fills 2000 seat halls. Anyone have any info as to if he's ever done or considered going on the road solo in the US or elsewhere.

Good question Mark. I don't think he's ever toured 'solo' although I've seen a music video of his with a complete band from the album 'Beyond The Thunder' I think. I would love to see Neal do some solo club stuff.

I would as well, even if it meant flying out.
