Too much time and work to listen to that interview but skimming the feedback, I'm guessing he saw his shadow again.

Yeah, I am going to listen to it tonight.

So, SaintJohn, you sticking to your guns about Perry coming out with something in 2007?

I didn't get some of the things he said...did he say "creative Tourettes" (like when he is biting his fist)?
The chat was good - not really an interview just chatting. Uncle Joe seemed to prod him a little about singing again, to which SP said, "how honest do you want me to be?" So, obviously there is the desire on SP's part but still that "mysterious" thing that is hindering him.
And, am I hearing things or did they play Neal's solo work in the background?

I think he meant that it's harrrrd for him to resist the urge to offer suggestions and things when he's in the studio with another band. He's probably itching to say, "You guys should do it like this!!".

You did hear Neal's solo stuff in the background which was really weird all things considered. The "background" music was a little too much in the forefront to me- I kept hearing the music and was missing the conversation.

I left the new version of "I Can See It In Your Eyes" in because it's new and also a funny Geico commercial with Burt Bacharach that made me LOL. (It's realllly brief)

Other than that I edited out all the songs and commercials as best I could.

Also, here's a short mp3 of Neal confirming that "When You Love A Woman" was recorded as a live take. :P

it was actually a waste of time, unless you just wanted to hear overly loud bg music and Perry's voice in 2006.

I appreciate the offer, but wasn't impressed in the least with the so called "interview".

I can't load it either - but thanks for posting the link, jeremyP, very decent of you. :)

So, we learn nothing new, I take it?
No new CD?
No ROR DVD coming out?
No live solo shows?
No insight into his personal life?

Why aren't I surprised.

Thanks...I thought that was Neal's music & yes, "off the record" always plays the background music too loud that it drowns out the conversation.

I noticed that some people are getting a mssage that the download limit has been reached when they try to download the interview. I just tried and it worked fine for me, so keep trying and I'm sure it'll work.
