Let me join in the chorus :) Congratulations Jeff, you are an awesome singer, and judging from the live performances I have heard a perfect match for Journey! Looking forward with eagerness to the next Journey album and tour. Please stop by Scandinavia next time!

Congrats to Jeff.

In the excerpts on YouTube that I've seen JSS has nailed all the songs and I'm sure will help the band make a cracking album for release ASAP.

Can't wait for the Euro Tour to start now; 3rd March gig in Glasgow can't come round quick enough.

Jeez- I work one night per week, and it had to be LAST night!

Jeff- CONGRATULATIONS!
You've proven yourself to be the right man for the job. Not only your talent ( which is legend!) but your attitude and love of the material!
May you and your family have a wonderful holiday season, enjoying your time before your back to your "new Journey"!

( p.s.- You've brought 4 people back to the "Journey" fold- Me, Hubby, and my 2 oldest -who listened to Journey in the womb!- & Blew them all away this summer/fall. They all are already asking about when they can see you and the band again!!! 8) )

Jeff, let me congratulate you in your new "OFFICIAL" capacity! Thanks so much for your kindness last month and the opportunity to meet you and Neal. And thanks for communicating with the fans like you do. You have given the band a third wind, and we can't wait to see what's next!!

Hi, Jeff 8)

Congrats on your EXCELLENT new job at the Journey helm!

I must say....I saw you on YouTube sing and play "Who's Cryin' Now"~ just you and piano ~ and that ONE PERFORMANCE made me take notice....I've been "hanging back", but now....this is a win-win situation for all!

Welcome Aboard...you are the Man for this job!

Thanx for getting me interested in "new Journey music" again!

Regarding your picture of Milli Vanilla and Augeri, at least he lipped to his own voice - those guys couldn't sing at all. :)

But those days are behind Journey, so let's keep 'em there. :)

I'm entirely unhappy with HOW this went down and have voiced that. I also must say that I'm entirely happy that JOURNEY continues. As a long time fan the one thing I've always recognized is that JOURNEY is a band of change. And each change has ALWAYS been for the better. It may sting right now but better days are ahead. Change is NOT something that most embrace. In fact, the unknown is mostly feared. So it's no wonder that many are struggling. I am, too. We'll all find our ways eventually. They may lead away from JOURNEY and they may lead back. Any way - JOURNEY continues.

As a fan that recognizes change I'd also like to see some DIVERSITY brought back into the studio. Trial By Fire ranks up there as perhaps the most diverse commerically accessible album next to Departure. While TBF is arguably a somewhat disjointed effort partially because of its length; Departure is more palatable as it's diverse without being diffused. It has a nice mix of several flavors of music. My favorite is People & Places. From TBF I really like the rhythms used on Colors Of The Spirit. Also, it's just a lyrically powerful song.

You're a "primitive" performer with a diverse background. I'd like to see that channeled into JOURNEY. As many know (and are sick of hearing) I'm a fan of the Latin rhythms as you and Neal are. It would be a real treat to hear something like this thrown into the mix. The JOURNEY 2001 DVD highlight in my opinion is La Raza Del Sol. SA wails away and the band just flat out JAMS. I recently heard your Todo y Todo and have to say that anyone who doesn't think this kind of music isn't palatable hasn't yet lived!

Welcome. Now get to work!
