Thanks tragchk, wow that was coming up on 29 years ago, when SP was about 29. Hell I was 16..lol Dude had a great voice.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

That's one of the most incredible renditions of Patiently...This and the one from the '79 Chicago boot.Absolutely flawless.
Steve's voice was going anywhere he wanted to.
Amazing,just amazing..

Pure, flawless perfection. That doesn't exist much anymore - except with, as I have stated before, Beyonce' Knowles. She is amazing as well.

Perry was out of this world back then!

That is THE VOICE, he was/is so beautiful.....and Neal looked great, working both of those guitars and the youth and sincere emotions in his face, can't wait to read Neal's book! 8)

Cool...I always love a chance to hear another version of that song. That being said, I have boots of others of this song that are far better, particularly on the Evolution and Departure tours.

VERY cool,, the look in perrys eyes ,, he knows hes delivering the goods... there was unique camera angle showing perry and neal in the back with the fro.. sorta took me back.... i WOULD NOT want to be responsible for the flawless acoustic intro though live in front of an audience, on that song..ugh!!

I thank God that he chose to share his VOICE for as long as he did....He will never be forgotten and we at least have records, vinyl, cds, videos etc to remember him by....

Yes we do Carol. They're priceless and will never be equaled. He's simply vocally perfect in every way.

He is perfect in every way and can never be duplicated, however, JSS certainly comes in a close second, a very close second.....and will give our favorite band a new lease on life....the new cd will be awesome...
