Cool thing- back in 99 I attended the World Festival of Sacred Music at the Hollywood Bowl and was able to meet the Dalai Lama, one of the greatest days of my life. There is such a calming peaceful aura surounding him.


I'm not interested at all in Buddhism. Buddha himself never intended for his teachings to become a religion, just moral teachings. They're good in and of themselves but I don't ascribe to Buddhism.

I do not follow any religion. I am not a fan of organized religion at all. My philosophy is simple- I follow the Golden Rule :D! I agree, following the practices of Buddha is not a religion persay, but rather a philosophy in which to live by.
