It's the only pure audience participation song they have. It's a good encore or closer.

I grant you that on the audience participation thing, it does work from that perspective. Really I can't even pinpoint what it is about that song that just I don't like, but I just never have dug it.

I liked the studio version way back when, but that tune has grown old and moldy to me. Hasn't aged as well as most of their other stuff.

For some reason, that song doesn't even SOUND like Journey to me. I've never liked it. Beer run/bathroom break when it's played.

I think it's Neal's use of the slide that makes it unique but at the same time takes it away from the JOURNEY sound. Also, he plays that typical blues riff that all guitarists learn when they first begin playing. Even I can play that and I'm a self-taught nobody.

I don't know why but I can't get through that video without catching Ross out of the corner of my eye. You know - at the very end when he pulls the wedgie out of his pants...

The things you have to do for fashion.

You know what NIG said about loonism Donna. That's why I use it as my sig.

But, as a fellow former 'loon I love the hair and face in the video, can do without the wardrobe choice. It's the versions of that song on the GHL and the ROR Ohio bootleg that I'm crazy about.
