Foreigner front-man singing Journey

Postby Wally_Hatchet » Fri Jan 19, 2007 4:54 am

Forgive me if this has been posted before...

Foreigner singer Kelly Hanson singing "Separate Ways".

Not too shabby, but he could have used some BG vox on the chorus:

Any Way You Want It- Jack Russell (Great White)
Faithfully- Robin McAuley (MSG)
Wheel In The Sky- Kelly Hansen (Foreigner)
Girl Can't Help It- John Corabi (Motley Crue)
Only The Young- Mark Knight (Worry Beads)
Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'- Chaz West (Jason Bonham Band)
Be Good To Yourself- Ralph Saenz (Metal Skool)
Lights- Stevie Rachelle (Tuff)
Seperate Ways- Kelly Hansen (Foreigner)

I've seen Foreigner last year in Paris with Kelly Hansen who almost broke is arm during the set and it was the best concert of 2006 for me! Nevertheless I've also seen Journey last year.

I'm so glad that Lou finally stopped touring....That was bad. I hated to see it, because he had such a great voice....

He didn't stop touring. He's just not with Foreigner anymore. He toured through most of last year with The Lou Gramm Band.

I liked Foreigner with Lou and I saw Kelly with them on GMA. I thought he did a good job of covering the songs but it was still just covering to me. I didn't feel like I was hearing Foreigner. Sort of like I felt about Augeri in Journey, but Journey's more important to me so I cared more.

I own this cd and although there are a couple of respectable renditions of Journey tracks on the cd, most of the cd is AWFUL!!!!!!!! Some of those tracks my my ears bleed!
