Postby lights1961 » Sat Feb 03, 2007 3:30 am

My Pack will be back in 07.. Brett Favre is going to play!! Yeah baby... I see 10-6 next year, after improving from late November through December, the future looks BRIGHT!!
Needs a TIGHT END now who can run the routes and catch the ball!! Oh and some run stoppers on defense!! GO PACK GO!!
After my morning of hell from work... this is great news!!

ok here it is,, jimmy got LUCKY to some degree with the boys,, it all stems from his trade of hershal walker , in that trade he got them huge offense linemen,, put together an offense based around that , picked aikman over ...uh.. well .that other guy,, we were all mad about that until aikman turned it around,, we were mad at the walker trade,, but look how that turned out... so when he went to miami ,, and just couldnt do it anymore,, just didnt work,, and folks in texas dig miami too... we wanted him to win ,, zach thomas an all..johnson would have only harmed miami more than help , if he would have stayed,, he would have had to rebuild from the ground up,, would have taken 5 years or more for johnson to make it his style..

Could never beat Penn State, though, could he ? :D

Penn State smothered them in the Championship game after DoubleJ had his Thug U show up to the press conference in fatigues.

I'm particularly fond of the "Catholics vs. Convicts" game against ND when JJ went for two and the win, only to have it knocked away at the last second. :P

My favorite rumor has McLorenzen and the Eagles' 1st rd pick going to the Lions for the #2 overal which Reid would use to draft...................................

Brady Quinn.

I'd love it.

I think the Pack will be focused next year, if Favre stays team friendly and they dont lose many players to free agents etc....they will be the sleepers this fall. Brett wants to go out like Elway and Bettis, no doubt that.

I bet you would, Red :)

So what's the deal?
McNabb gonna be healthy?
Garcia gonna stick around?
Are the fans calling for Garcia to remain the starter???

St. John, don't let the Penn State blinders fool you, Quinn's the best qb in the draft, IMO. You like Russel? He's good too.
Carl, I don't think McLorenzen's going to be healthy, there are persistent rumors he ALREADY behind on reheb, he's always overweight even when he's healthy and "in shape" more fans than the team would like, myself included, are calling for San Jose State's Garcia to remain under center.
The wild card question's your third, will Garcia remain.
Dunno. Maybe Moose can weigh in on that.
The head coach's plate has now been complicated by unforseen personal human drama, and my thouhts and prayers go out to the Reid family.

Lights1961- Isn't there some record that Farve can break in the next few seasons? If am remember that correctly, then that will be when he leaves.

Career td passes.

To me, he's pulling a Bonds, hanging on way past he had the ability to LEGITMATELY break Danny Franchise's record.

That's NOT to say that I don't see Favre as an all-time great, he clearly is.
