However,it's a pleasure to post this because the idea is great and the cause is noble (no pun intended  )

Arlen Ness Custom Motorcycle for Def Leppard and Journey Click Here for Details

Place your bid now for a chance to win this one of a kind motorcycle customized for the legendary bands Def Leppard and Journey!! Autographed by members of the bands and showcasing the Def Leppard and Journey logos, this bike showcases the Arlen Ness flair for design with two of the greatest bands in rock and roll. Neal Schon of Journey and Joe Elliott of Def Leppard, both motorcycle enthusiasts, contacted Arlen Ness to create the bike. VH1 Classic is proud to offer this Arlen Ness Motorcycle to the many fans of these rock icons in an effort to benefit Cure Autism Now.

"It was an honor and privilege to build a motorcycle for these rock icons. Neal Schon and Joe Elliot not only rock, they know how to design a motorcycle," said designer Cory Ness. "This bike not only rocks, it rolls! Someone is going to own a piece of history."

"The custom Journey/Def Leppard bike that Arlen Ness Motorcycles created is one bad-ass, wicked-mean bike with all the frills and best parts that money can buy. A lucky fan will own this bad boy in just a few weeks. Best of all, the money is going to Cure Autism Now," said Neal Schon of Journey.

"I concur with Neal that this is not just a bike but an absolute work of art...some lucky person is going to own this bike and I will be forever jealous of the fact that it won't be me!!!! But I will take some comfort in the knowledge that the money we raise will be going to such a worthy cause," said Joe Elliott of Def Leppard.

Who This Auction Benefits

Cure Autism Now is an organization of parents, clinicians and scientists dedicated to accelerating research to prevent, treat and cure autism -- for individuals and families today, and for future generations. www.cureautismnow.org or (888) 8-AUTISM. That's a nice looking bike. I hope it draws a high price for the charity. You bidding on it Shania?
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Yes, nice ride!
But didn't they auction this bike off during the tour last summer? Isn't it the same one? Cause it's the same commercial they're showing on VH1????
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, wine and chocolate in hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "what a ride!"

Man, would I ever love to be cruising that bike down the Los Angeles freeways at 80mph with "Still They Ride" cranking on my Ipod!
