Now that I finally got it to work  I can say that was some funny shit NIG. Still nothing vocally indicative of where Steve's voice might be. :(

I wrote to Ash (of Guff) regarding the release of the CD (and Steve's song) and this is what was said:

Still no official release date on the record. However, the cd is almost
done with mixing and then it will go throught mastering. We're
expecting the record out by april or may...hope we get to LA soon too!
Don't worry, you'll be one of the first to know. Thanks again for all
your support...ash(guff)

I for one, plan on being at that concert, that's for damn sure.

Yeah, you're right, it sounds a lot like his voice in Castles Burning.

Are you saying that's SP on the backing vox? Kinda sounds like Guff's singer backing it to me.

Yep. It's Perry. He talked about it in the Off the record interview with Joe Benson.

I think I misunderstood. I know SP sang along with Guff and sounded good, but I thought Nora was talking about the harmony vocals. I think that part is the Guff singer.

He also talked about a vocal coach in the UJB interview. He's got something cooking. I can't wait.
