I'd like to see them cancel the whole fucking thing before
Eddie's drunk, incoherent ass tarnishes VH's legacy but, fuck it,
I'm one of those people that can turn away from a bad car accident
so I'm anxious to watch this fucking Circus unfold.

I still think it would be funny as shit if Sammy had Mike
with him this weekend and they played a DLR-era tune
during the Fox Pre-Race broadcast. That would just be a
great, big, wonderful, "Fuck You Eddie, You Putz"
broadcasted LIVE to Millions of people :D
Fucking Priceless!

david lee roth quotes-

“Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a yacht big enough to pull up right alongside it.”

“I used to have a drug problem, now I make enough money.”

“Music is like girlfriends to me; I'm continually astonished by the choices other people make.”

“You stick your head above the crowd and attract attention, and sometime, maybe somebody, will throw a rock at you. That's the territory. You buy the land, you get the Indians.”

“The light you see at the end of the tunnel is the front of an oncoming train.”

“They want me to copy Howard [Stern]. But I refuse to regiment this show. ... I told them I would quit if they will not let me do what I was hired to do, which is create something unique.”

“It's a huge disappointment and I love doing radio. We got canned 20 minutes before the hour.”

I'm with Carlito on this one, I'm waiting silently to watch a big huge loud train wreck.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

This SUCKS.

Why can't the culprit(s?) just sign the details on and live and let damn live. ?

I'm so glad I'm not a big VH fan. I mean VH was great and all, yeah. But, for some reason the lack of their respect for their biggest fans somehow doesn't surprise me much anymore. Sad.

You know, 4-5 years ago i woulda said that Roth was
washed up and had no right to share a stage with EVH...
Fast-forward to now and I think it is the other way around.
DLR stepped away for awhile, became a normal person for
a bit (EMT job in New York), had his radio pipe-dream smashed
and now seems like he has been humbled. At least from the few things
I've heard him say lately. I'm willing to bet Roth would sound pretty
good singing again. As for Ed...

I was really kinda psyched to hear what they were going to put out. I know Eddie's been a dick lately, but he can still play, and DLR, like you said, has kinda come around. It isn't dead yet though, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I bet Eddie is the one screwing it up right now though.

"Britney Sheers.."

Seriously, though.. She had her whole life set up for her and she's blowing it. Kind of sad, really.

Actually, in that Rolling Stone pic of the band, Roth looked pretty healthy and normal. Eddie looked like he wouldn't be able to cut it for even a couple shows. :?
