Seriously, I wonder if the Generations hand outs counted toward this number? I recall hearing that CD's with a ticket are counted as a sale....

By the way,

KISS checks in at a staggering 22 million

Paul Stanley's new cd "Live to Win" has outsold Steve Perry's new cd.

Dude, let me clue you in on something.

KISS sucks. The individual members solo projects suck worse.

How did Genes' "Asshole" cd do? 17,000 sales?

Perry could sell more cd's than all of those ass pirates combined.

I didn't care for Perry's lasted cd. It didn't sound like anything. I forgot, I wasn't born when Perry last released something. As bad as Styx blow, at least their ex singer uses a fake name and posts on the Jrny board all the time.

I'm drunk and mispelling already. Regarding Kiss, I've never left a performance feeling ripped off. Journey owe me $200 for a Milli Vanilli. If their mngt. wants to rightfully put the blame on SA. then he owes me $200. I can't beleive the little gripes among true JRY fans. I can't event begin to think of the true complaints if Great White had a message board here. Anyone ever lose a loved one at a Journey or Kiss concert.

You will never leave a Kiss show feeling ripped off. The best live show in the world. Not the best musicians, but the best live show.

No it didn't. All of the Kiss solo discs in 1978 shipped platinum.

I agree. Simply awesome. BTW, "Into The Night" by Ace was a great song.

Unfair Ed. Perry didn't release a solo record until 84. I can guarantee you Street Talk outsold any solo record by any KISS member.

Also unfair to compare any Gene Simmons or Paul Stanley solo record released in 2004 on to anything Perry did solo in the 80's or 90's. Different musical climate (see Bob Ezrin interview)

Simmons 2nd solo record smells like Monker. The 2nd Paul Stanley solo is very good.
