I just got a DVD in the mail and I am learning to play. I couldn't trust my husband or brother to teach me because I noticed how much they were smirking as they beat me. So I figured I should learn on my own. But when I learn and nobody can take advantage of me, I think I would like to play online.

Yeah, I play at Pogo.com. I'm a tournament director for one of the leagues there, but I prefer to play gin.

My brother started 3 years ago with $50 in an online account. Today he is one of the best players both online and offline.
He has won few tournaments and he has 3 houses(!) (one in Vegas) and plenty of cash and has become a professional poker player. He is 23 years old !
I wouldve lost that $50 right away and would be in the same place I am now, if not worse :lol:
