Glad you had a great time. That concert was worth every penny and the best I've seen in a while, besides the last couple with Journey, of course.SunshineTwilight wrote:I just attended this show last night in Baltimore with a friend and it was absolutely incredible!! The amount of talent on stage was insane! Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Paul Gilbert, Dave LaRue (sp?), and Mike Portnoy as well as the others, (sorry can't remember names). The note density during the 'jam' at the end was ridiculous. All top notch players, a wankfest for sure!![]()

It was general admission and we were right up at the front of the stage. The show was about 4 hours long and we stood the whole time. Well worth the sore feet and aching back....damn, I'm getting too old for this!![]()

The main reason I didnt go to this years G3 is because Steve Vai (who has been in all previous G3's with Satch) wasnt in the line up .
The best G3 that I went to was when Vai and Satch jammed with YngYang . Besides the 3 guitar gods,, they had other amazing talents playing with them, including Billy Sheehan(Bass), Tony McApline(Guitar), Stu Hamm (Bass) and Patrick Johanson(drums).
