This does indeed look "Interesting", but I wish they would have left the characters as close to the vehicles they portrayed in the cartoons and toys.... The special effects look awesome

Call me cynical, but there's NO originality in TV or movies anymore. It boggle me that 30 and 40 something men are so interested in this junk, they call entertainment these days.

I have no intrest in seeing a movie about H.R. Puff-n-stuff and jimmy and his magical flute, anymore than I do to see an overhyped movie based on a cartoon series in the 80's.

Talk about a lack of originality, Rob Zombie is doing a remake of Halloween. WHY? The original was phenomenal(Not the seven other pieces of shit that came after) so why fuck with it?

Transformers, GI Joe, M.A.S.K., and many other cartoons were staples of my childhood. I have no problems going to check out a movie that will kick me back to my childhood for a couple of hours.

On top of that, the toys and cartoons of today REALLY lack because these networks are too afraid of feeling the wrath of conservitives who seem to think everything out there is going to influence their children to become mass _______. (use your own word). I, along with MANY out there grew up to watching these cartoons and had no problems adapting to society when it came time. Sure there are a few turds in the punchbowl, but you can easily trace that back to their upbringing.

I'm 32 by the way, and I know people 10 years older than me at work and my local hangouts that are looking forward to this movie. It sure beats all the "Gangsta Drive-by cap-yo-ass mofo" movies that have come out recently.

To each his own I guess. I'm with T-Bone, I have no problem going to see something that was a staple of my childhood. Besides, after a week of computer code an junk like that, the last thing I want to do is go to see a movie that requires me to have to do a lot thinking. I just want to relax for a couple of hours and be entertained.
