The First Part Of The...

Seems there is a new compilation CD due out going by the name of this thread.

Does anyone know if this is a band sanctioned release as it is being released by a minor label called Store for Music Limited .

I'm thinking it may be a live album as what would be the point of a minor label putting out stuff most folk will have.

Tracklisting is as follows:

1. La Do Da
2. Next
3. Feeling That Way
4. Anytime
5. Lights
6. Too Late
7. On A Saturday Night
8. Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’
9. City Of The Angels
10. Do You Recall
11. Lady Luck
12. Just The Same Way
13. Wheel In The Sky
14. Patiently
15. Opened The Door
16. She Makes Me (Feel Alright)

Amazon.com has it listed (that's where I got the tracklisting) and are selling it on pre-order for $16.99 (I think) with a release date of 14th April.

The UK Amazon site doesn't have it but play.co.uk does and is selling it for £7.99 but they say it has been released over here in the UK and that play.co.uk are waiting for delivery of stock, which IMO sounds a bit dodgy.
HMV.co.uk also has it listed for sale.

It's listed on CD Universe under that label at imports, for $15.49.

The bolded songs made me think of those Midnight Special shows where Journey played them live...but I may be wrong. :?
If it's a live CD...

This track listing is pretty close to some of my 1979 Journey boots. :D

I believe this actually is a 1979 show. I read that somewhere, but now I can't remember where I saw it.
