Me singing After the fall

Postby Liquid_Drummer » Sat May 05, 2007 10:38 pm

A few had asked that I post more so here it is. There was some weird issue with the mic used on this which caused a harsh treble boost in some places mainly higher notes. Couldnt seem to eq it out and didnt feel like recutting the whole thing but here it is anyway. I think busted a vein in my eyeball on that last note !! Hope you like it.

Treble advisory !

"treble boost"..."eq"...who cares about that?LOL
You sound GREAT! :D

I am still amazed that you haven't pursued a career as a singer... What are you doing behind those drums?!
I'm sure you are a good drummer, but with that voice...man...You should be out there fronting a band.

That last note was awesome, you nailed it! 8)

Thanks for sharing,it was a treat!

LD, when's your album out?
I'll buy it.

Love your voice.

Call Richie Sambora now and tell him you want JBJ's job.
Then I'll pay £500 to see their show in the UK.

Oh yeah, and lay off the cigarettes. You know it makes sense. 8)

LD, that was great. I agree with Shania, please step out from behind the drums and work with it. Really like your vocal tone. :)

I'm gonna go with everyone on this one. You were great! I don't really know you, but I hope you do this more often...

Have not tried being a serious singer for one reason. I dont like being the center of attention on a stage. I have been playing drums since I was 11 and I feel I am a much better drummer. You dont know what it took for me to start sharing these songs. I have always enjoyed singing alone where no one can hear because I am shy about singing in front of people. Sharing my practice on here has helped with that I have to say. I think it may be a bit late in the game to switch roles now. It takes so much more than being able to sing to front a band. Moves ! You need moves, presence etc and that type of persona is just not who I am. I am kinda introverted and that a good front man does not make or I mean er, it does not make for a good front man er.. Um ya know what I mean ! Thx for the kind comments guys, it really makes me feel good about it.

I agree with the above posters. You should be fronting a band. You've got great pipes. You could do a Journey tribute band!! ;)

If only my hair was that silky and smooth I could wear pants like that and never feel the least bit out of place at an AA meeting.
