I just picked up the second STORM cd from the Ross Valory site. Great stuff. Have any of you ever seen any bootleg stuff from the Storm? I'd love to see a setlist and see what if any Journey tunes they did--

I never saw any bootleg stuff of theirs, but I did see them live when they opened up for Bryan Adams back in 1992. They played Just the Same Way, which sounded identical to the live version on Captured. They also nailed Black Magic Woman. They were very good live – Greg sounded amazing, and Ross was particularly fun to watch and he got off big time by the crowd's cheers when they announced his name and as being from Journey. The only bummer was that Steve Smith didn't tour with them.

In fact, I still have my Storm tour tee shirt packed away somewhere!

I have a few Storm boots. They used to play Just The Same Way and Anytime with Chalfant covering Perry's vocals. Chalfant sounded pretty damn good. The boots I have are from some state fair type gigs and consisted mostly of selections from their first album. Maybe some Black Magic Woman in there for Rolie. They never toured for their second album, if I recall correctly.

Here's a link to Ron Wikso's website, talking about his time in the Storm.

I also remember reading somewhere that when he continued to play with the Gregg Rolie band afterwards, they were doing Journey tunes better than Journey! They were definitely dipping into some of the older Journey stuff at the time – stuff that the Augeri lineup wasn't doing – so I'm sure they did it justice.

Being the "Boot Lady", I can fill the request of epresley; I have two boots of the Storm in concert and here is a setlist for one of them. Both concerts have the same setlist, but one has an extra song, but it isn't a Journey song.

The Storm: Central Park Live-Kaukauna, WI. 6-6-92
Setlist:
1. You Keep Me Waiting
2. Call Me
3. I want You Back
4. Black Magic Woman
5. Show Me the Way
6. Still Loviing You
7. You're Gonna miss Me
8. Just The Same Way
9. In The Raw
10. I've Got alot to learn about Love
11 Anytime

You may still be able to find the boots at Guitars 101. :D

I definitely remember Just the Same Way and Black Magic Woman, but I don't think they played Anytime the night that I saw them. That was 15 years ago, though
