I hate to emit bad vibes, but could this be #3?!

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- Bo Diddley is in intensive care after suffering a stroke in Iowa, a publicist said Wednesday.

The 78-year-old singer-songwriter-guitarist and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer was listed in guarded condition at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, said Susan Clary, a publicist for the musician's management team.

Diddley, who has a history of hypertension and diabetes, was hospitalized Sunday following a concert in Council Bluffs, Iowa, in which he acted disoriented, she said.

Tests indicated the stroke affected the left side of his brain, impairing his speech and speech recognition, Clary said.

Clary said she has no other details on Diddley's condition or how long he would be in intensive care.

Diddley, with his black glasses and low-slung guitar, has been an icon in the music industry since he topped the R&B charts with "Bo Diddley" in 1955. His other hits include "Who Do You Love," "Before You Accuse Me," "Mona" and "I'm a Man."

Diddley was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 and was given a lifetime achievement Grammy in 1998.

Oh man...how sad.He is such a great musician.

Hopefully he will recover,it's not impossible.
I have a relative that had the same kind of stroke sometime ago and regained his speech after something like 3 months.

Bo Diddley is up and about after suffering a stroke on Sunday night (May 13th) following a concert in Omaha, Nebraska. Diddley's longtime manager Margo Lewis told Reuters that the 78-year-old Diddley is still struggling to communicate, adding that, "I'm truly encouraged by the way he is responding."

She said that at this point she was unsure whether Diddley would ever recover enough to perform: "He is having a hard time understanding us... We're hopeful he can come back." Lewis went on to say that Diddley would be moved out of the intensive care unit in a couple of days, and that although the stroke hasn't affected his physical ability, it has affected the left side of his brain, which impairs speech and speech recognition.
