I was amazed to hear this on the radio this morning.
MLK wasn't perfect and I don't think he had any delusions of being as such however I wonder if America has yet realized his dream of being a nation of people that passes judgment not on the color of skin but on the content of character.
As a nation we can create laws that can be mechanisms to assure fair judgment and equality but as people I wonder if we'll ever transcend the primitive compulsion to label and pass judgment based on physical appearances.
