John West-Maybe this time...

When Augeri auditioned, John West(Badlands, Lynch Mob,Royal Hunt) was another candidate. I wished he would've got the gig. Amazing voice. I have a bootleg of him with Lynch Mob,very bluesy, would fit in nicely with Journey.
Geoff Tate of Queensryche also came in to audition in '98.
