What is it about singers?

It's interesting how the singer has that unique position to be a part of the band on stage & also a part of the audience as Nora said. The frontman really has to pull the audience in & convince them, make them believe in the song and at the same time interact with the band mates. Egos, jealousy, yes...and, trying to please both sides or all sides. Only 60 yrs ago the singers sat behind the Big Bands & waited their turn for a few songs, then went back to their seats. The musicians & Big Band leaders were the stars then. Things sure shifted when Rock-n-Roll was born.

That THING Dubrow has atop his head in the ReHab sleeve pix is a wig....that's not plugs.

Wonder why Michaels doesn't do the plugs thing though? Can't be because he doesn't care because he's always got his pate covered under a hat or bandana...
