I'm done w/ JOURNEY...

Postby Pelata » Sat Jun 16, 2007 12:07 am

I can ususally follow a band thru a singer change or 2 as long as the music is good, which Journey's has been...but this is too much.

I'm glad I have all the Perry & Augeri albums and one JSS bootleg...I'm done w/ "Journey"...and I never thought I'd say that.

What they SHOULD have done is leave JSS as a fill-in and wait for Augeri to recover (which he now has)...JSS kept their asses out of court, and they replace him while he's on tour in Europe closing out TALISMAN? Lame.

Either way, there is no reason for me to stick around...I'll just rotate the existing music on my iPod & "remember when"...

Im sorry to say this but JRNY was done before Jeff
They burned out Augeri for the money and did not know when to quit.
The only way to save this is by Perry returning for a cd and let Kevin tour with them on the road
Thats the only option.

I don't know what's worse..

Kicking Perry out of the band for not waiting for him..
Making Augeri lip to songs once his throat burns out for money issues, then kicking him out
or Kicking Soto out without even telling him, after he saves them from a big tour, just to get their money..

hmmmmm....

Or better yet, they can stop while there is still some sort of legacy to preserve.

I enjoyed the JSS bootleg I have and wish I had seen them with him...they could have done something cool...but it's way past over now...for me anyway.

I sure hope that Jeff at least got some $$ out of them for his work during the past 11 months.

Man the way you put it really looks aweful for JRNY
They are now in a box and may not be able to get out.
I have a feeling that they could have waited for Perry and there would have been no JRNY for the last 10 years
so Im not sure thats a viable complaint

I'm sure he was paid per show...should help finance his next project.

"word starts spreading back here in the U.S. that while at a Washington DC Airport Neal told Jeff it was his last show with the band"

I think this part of Deen's third writing on his blog page are throwing some people off. Some are saying IF this happened, then Jeff did know.
It's one thing for Jeff to have heard mumors hear and there, but IF a band member tells you, this obviously could not have happened, because of what this all is based on is how things were handled.

Neal had to pay for that face lift he had. Fucker looks like he's got a permanent smile on his face. Perhaps he got the face lift for the "permanent smile" look to fool all of us!
