Question for Jeff

Postby Blueskies » Wed Jun 20, 2007 3:35 am

Love and support ya, Jeff. The way this has been handled by the band and management is reprehensible. I know you cant speak because you have been silenced, but I'll ask it anyway..........Something I dont understand, for a man who likes to freely speak his mind and has done so in the past.....Why would you sign a confidentialty agreement after you were shafted? :?

I can understand if it's because of money. They owe you alot for what you've done for them and you have a family to think about. I also understand that making waves could affect others who are innocent bystanders. ...but, just got to say, I was kinda hoping that this time someone couldn't be bought off and would stand by their principles and speak their mind freely at unjustified treatment and demand answers. Probably the only return you will get for your efforts is a payday and you deserve every penny, cant fault you for it at all, probably the wiser thing to do.....and you've gotten alot of exposure so that is also a reward...why make yourself look bad by complaining and some viewing it as sour grapes on your part........but, it's high time someone called out this band and company on their BS, and exposed them to the light of day. Just saying, wiser not to for you to do it because standing on principles doesn't buy much now-a-days.. just wish someone would stand up to the powers that be, tell 'em they can stick the money where the sun dont shine, and keep their voice. Ugh!

He probably signed any such agreement from the get-go.
These guys are pros at making a mess of things and then
trying to cover ever thing up with the sweet scent of
Rosey Bullshit. I'm sure they have that kinda stuff
drawn up right away in the initial "You're Hired" contracts.
Welcome to Terminus... You hungry?

My guess is that it was signed before he joined the band. Especially considering he would be privy to TapeGate information. If fit was signed after he got the shaft, my guess isthat, at the time, he just wanted to get the fuck as far away from those 2 fuckwads as quickly as possible.

That confidentiality statement was in the very first deal he signed with them, I can guarantee that. I am a lowly IT worker and it is in every contract I sign. If its anything like most contracts the employer reserves the right to fire you for no reason as well. This is a "right to fire" country not the other way around as it was back in the day.

Yep, if he signed it going in he probably had to, to get the gig..and he was excited about the prospects in the future and fulfilling a dream and couldn't foresee that he would be in the position of wishing to speak out in the very near future. :( Was just wondering when he signed it.

Exactly. They use people like that. For most, it would be a matter of protection, but for Friga and Fro it's because they KNOW it will come in handy at some point in the future.

Jeff is a class guy. I do not see him lashing out at anyone. He just wants to know what happened. All the blogs and posts of friends bear this out.

It had to be signed at the beginning, just makes sense and no matter how classy someone is, they would still give their side of what they could.
It would not have been signed after everything happened, makes no sense on many levels.
No one is even telling him why, so how would they even handle that.
'Hey, we aren't going to tell you why, guess you heard you are out, but would you still sign this?' No one is even talking to the guy!

Yes I know Jeff is a class guy. Dont want to see him "lashing out" either, just want the same thing that he does...answers to why? I want to hear some honesty from this band for a change. Silencing people is dishonest. The way they just deleted him from the official site....the way BT was moderated...closing it down. They wish to silence all voices. I'm sure they would like to see Andrew and this board go away about now. They have a severe lack of integrety and honesty. Look at how they wont call Jeff and tell him the truth. I was just wishing that Jeff could have kept his voice and be free to express himself like we are all doing here, but I'm sure he probably wishes that for himself. :(

I'm sure your right and he probably did have to sign it going in. Was just looking for a little clarification on when it was signed to be sure. IF, by chance, he didnt sign it until later it bears the question.
