I think it had something to do with the idea that Journey was labeld Corporate Rock, pretty much before anyone else was. At least AFTER Perry joined or was there a while. What do i know? I'm just some e-clique person. I dont' know much. sorry for the wink.

Yes they can. Styx was the first group ever to sell 4 back to back triple platinum records. They sold steady, but never had the one big breakout cd of these groups.-ERIC

There's no way that Styx can be in the same category as Journey. They were big in their time but they haven't held up nearly as well as Journey has.
